Ciranova Hardwax Oil Titan gives wood a very natural colour, has good filling properties, fast drying and good chemical and abrasion resistance.

It also has a long open time, which makes it suitable for roller application.

Quantity

Make sure that all old finish coats are completely removed and that the wood is free from dust and other dirt. Sanding using the correct method:, deep sanding with 60-80-100 grit, then sanding with 100 grit. Can be used on sanded, planed, and brushed wood
Stir and shake well before and during use. The HARDWAXOIL TITAN can be easily applied with a roller (a 6 mm microfiber roller is recommended). A buffing machine could be used for a 1st coat. For the final topcoat, we recommend a roller application only. Hardwood, like oak, requires at least 2 layers. Multiple layers can be applied for softwood. For exotic wood types, the Hardwaxoil TITAN should be tested beforehand.

DRYING TIMES

Recoatable: 8 hours.

Lightly walkable after 24 hours.

Fully cured after 10 days
For regular maintenance, it is recommended to use Ciranova Flooring Soap. For periodic maintenance, use Ciranova Maintenance Oil or first use Ciranova® Intensive Cleaner in case of heavy dirt.

If Ciranova intensive cleaner is used, a coat of maintenance oil must be applied once the floor has dried.

.The Titan Hardwaxoil is only fully hardened after +/- 7 days. During this period, the wood cannot be treated with water or maintenance oil.
