Aged Vintage Oak Parquet
The Reclaimed Look with Modern Stability
The Art of the Age: Hand-Distressed Vintage Parquet
Our Vintage Oak collection is designed for those who seek the soul of a reclaimed floor without the structural uncertainty of salvaged timber. Each block undergoes a meticulous aging process in our workshop, where we gently soften the edges and distress the surface to replicate decades of natural wear. The result is a floor that feels as though it has been part of the building’s history since day one.
The Reclaimed Aesthetic, Reimagined
While genuine reclaimed parquet is often incompatible with modern living, our vintage blocks are precision engineered. By bonding a solid European Oak wear layer to a high density birch ply base, we achieve the "lived-in" aesthetic of an antique floor with the full stability required for underfloor heating (UFH). You get the knots, the character, and the tumbled edges.
A Palette of Time: From Weathered Greys to Antique Tones
Whether you are restoring a Grade II listed Georgian townhouse or adding character to a modern Cotswold extension, the tone of your parquet sets the tempo for the entire room.
-
Antique Tones (Truffle & Coffee): Deep, chocolatey hues that mimic the natural darkening of oak in historic libraries and grand hallways.
-
Weathered Neutrals (Pebble & Chalk): Soft, muted greys and pales that reflect the "sun-bleached" look of coastal or Scandinavian-inspired heritage properties.
-
The Natural Archive (Golden Oak & Sand): Warm, honeyed tones that celebrate the raw, organic vibrance of European Oak in its most timeless form.
